Dr John Wu is an Australian Hermeneutiker who affirms his cultural, genetic and spiritual hybridity. He earned his PhD in comparative philosophy and religion from the University of Sydney in December 2007. After surviving a long period of near-fatal illness, John is currently working in the field of hermeneutics and phenomenology as an honorary associate at the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery of the same university. In his youth John was a German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) scholar who studied at the University of Bonn. Blaue Hermeneutik is John’s intellectual property; the views expressed therein are his own. The colour blue is a tribute to the nurse uniform in Sydney.
